There's a handful of chain restaurants that I will visit, no matter what city am in, When in NYC Cipriani Downtown falls on that list. I love going there for lunch, you don't need reservations and it's not super crowded like dinner time. The hostess, waiters and servers are always so friendly and has a vast knowledge of what is on their menu. Cipriani restaurant and in different states has their own unique decor that describes the city you're in. If you're in Miami, you get glass windows with a view of the bay and palm trees, when you're in NYC you get picture walls, wooden panels and little tchotchkes that screams NY and I love it because it's home. My go to food is the classic chicken salad, which has chunks of chicken in mayo, egg and tomato (it's so good). Grilled octopus, Rucola and cherry tomato salad, Risotto alla primavera, there are some dishes that is meant for 2 so jus st ask questions before ordering and not wasting food. One thing am gonna get when am there is a dessert, their freshly whipped vanilla ice cream, it comes with chocolate, nuts and cookies on the side, their popular meringue cake and the Vanilla Mille-Feuille. My experience has always been a 10/10.
The food was absolutely delicious. The service was equally amazing--attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs throughout the meal. The elegant atmosphere only added to the experience.
so romantic! I was taken here after telling a friend I was craving pistachio gelato and it was delicious. Everything was great and I can't wait to return again
The location and environment looks luxury and fancy. Always busy and food was alright. I had a different flavored shape and style pasta and it tasted how it supposed to be but I wasn't in love. I did eat all and enjoyed what it gave. The texture of the crisp was nice n plain, not too crunchy, thin and light. The olive oil is basic n was ok when I add salt n pepper to it when dipping the bread. Some places olive oil with bread is season well inside the olive oil bottled. Expensive place obviously and wouldn't come here for it is not the way I like certain dishes and don't think prices justify for what I eat.
Went to Socialista upstairs and it was beautiful. The service was also impeccable. Fun vibes with people dressed up. The only thing is drinks are pricey here! Even a gin + t was $30 - ouch! But that being said I will be back lol
This pasta was so good (baked white tagliolini with praga ham) I actually fell in love with this place. So creamy and delicious. I usually don't even eat ham all that much but this was actually so good. And the wagyu was so soft and delicious. The cake was also heavenly and the espresso martini was one of the best I ever had. The service was also very good. I definitely want to come back.
Stopped in for some cocktails and apps after a long days work. We wanted to decompress after our meetings and get ready for a wild night. We had some cocktails at the bar and then sat down for some apps to set our tummy's off right!! The only strange thing is that the martini came in a shot glass. Not what we were expecting from a place like this but ok. The food was really good though.
Coolest crowd you can ever imagine, really delicious food, great service, beautiful restaurant. I mean its Cipriani's. Can never go wrong with that establishment.
